Ok so got a picture on here. Done and Doner. I might get some slack for making our blog pink but Josh rarely goes on the computer for anything other than youtube so I might be safe.
Well..BIG news. Josh started working at a casino here back in January. He went in for an interview and after talking to the Chef, he was wondering why Josh even wanted a job as a server. After some convincing the Chef hired his to start as a dishwasher. There wasn't a server position at that point but they would move him up as soon as there was one. He washed dishes only for 2 weeks before he started training as a server. He did expediting and bussing and learned why I had told him about all those years ago when I was in the restaurant business. It was a humbling experience and I think he had a whole new respect for the crap servers put up with. Well about 2 weeks ago (maybe 3) he had talked to his boss about the fact that he had sales and marketing experience and that was his passion...soooo if anything came open or available if maybe she could put a good word in for him. Little did he know the catering manager was putting in her 2 weeks notice. Well the past 2 weeks have been hectic with interviews and pacing and nervousness but as of Tuesday, last week, Josh was offered the job of the catering and banquet manager!! He is very excited and we are very proud of him. Mikaela asked him the day he went into interview "Daddy are you going to be the boss now??" hehe
Not exactly...but pretty close! =)
